Afternoon Adventures!

You will be charged at the beginning of the month for the sessions that month. For example, you would be charged $60 for a month that has 4 sessions but only $45 for a month with 3 scheduled sessions. You are invited to make up missed classes by carrying over up to three credits per semester.

Edifying Journeys

Edifying Journeys (EJ) is an exciting collaborative storytelling game based on the popular role-playing game, Dungeons and Dragons. Each student creates a character to role-play. Throughout the gaming session, the student will explore fantastical lands all the while practicing their Language Arts, Critical Thinking and Math skills. Above all, EJ is a game that rewards curiosity, strategy and creativity.

An immersion Spanish version of Edifying Journeys building the same skills only this time in Spanish. Spanish exposure recommended.

In this class learners will use the scientific method to do hands on experiments, use and learn design thinking and iterative design as they use engineering principles to solve challenges.

Intro to Robotics / Coding (K-2nd grades):

In this age appropriate intro to robotics and coding students will play hands on with robots programing them to complete challenges. This screen free class allows students to learn critical thinking, problem solving, iterative design and begin to learn to write code by programing the mini robots.

Intro to Robotics / Coding (3-6th grades):

Students will play with various mini robots and learn intro to coding on ipads, and build and experiment with their own small robots. Students will use design thinking, problem solving, critical thinking, iterative design, and basic coding.

$15 class paid monthly plus $40 robot fee (you take home the one you make at the end of the year)

Makers Space

Welcome to your own imagination.  Learners plan, design and create using our makers space supplies.

$15 class paid monthly plus $45 supply fee per semester
